Who I coach

Juniors, high schoolers,
and adults.

I've worked with players at just about every stage — from "which end do I hold?" first-timers to high-school team players drilling for league matches. I play recreationally at a 4.5 level myself, so I can feed at whatever pace you need.

Each lesson is built around what you want to get better at. That might mean a full hour of cross-court forehands, a serve-and-return block, or match-play with live coaching between points.

Juniors & HS

Fundamentals, footwork, and competitive match prep. Patient pacing for younger kids.

Adult players

Stroke cleanup, strategy, and specific problem-solving. Great for 3.0–4.5 level improvers.

Questions

What to expect.

Where do you coach?

Anywhere with a public court in Alameda — and I'll travel to the greater Bay Area for regular lessons. Tell me your preferred court when we book.

What about court fees?

Alameda's public courts are free. If you want a reserved private court, that's on you to book and pay for.

How many players can do a group?

Up to four on one court works well. Same $80/hour total — split it however you want among the players.

Cancellations?

Just let me know ahead of time. Weather cancels — we'll reschedule, no charge.

Want to book a lesson?

Call or text to set up your first session. First lesson, I'll take 10 minutes up front to figure out what you want to get better at — and the rest is all court time.
