10+ years of coaching experience — teaching kids learning forehands, high schoolers chasing a varsity spot, and adults who want to finally beat their doubles partner. Private or group lessons in Alameda and the Bay Area.
Same flat rate whether you book a one-on-one private session or bring a small group. We can figure out which courts to meet at; I'll bring the balls and the drills.
I've worked with players at just about every stage — from "which end do I hold?" first-timers to high-school team players drilling for league matches. I play recreationally at a 4.5 level myself, so I can feed at whatever pace you need.
Each lesson is built around what you want to get better at. That might mean a full hour of cross-court forehands, a serve-and-return block, or match-play with live coaching between points.
Fundamentals, footwork, and competitive match prep. Patient pacing for younger kids.
Stroke cleanup, strategy, and specific problem-solving. Great for anyone trying to up their game.
Anywhere with a public court in Alameda — and I'll travel to the greater Bay Area for regular lessons. Tell me your preferred court when we book.
Alameda's public courts are free. If you want a reserved private court, you will need to book one and cover the fees.
Up to four on one court works well. Same $80/hour total — split it however you want among the players.
Just let me know ahead of time, we can reschedule. Same goes for weather issues.
